Let me start by saying I am thrilled to be creating for 2 Cute Stamps again! Our design team is getting back to work using Heidi's darling stamps! Woohoo!

It's definately time to get our Easter groove on and with such cute Easter stamps at 2 Cute, how can you resist? I decided to color up Easter Egg Chickie! Now let me tell you this was the funnest stamp to work with, not only can you play with lots of blending techniques, but I couldn't resist blinging it out a litte! So get that bunny tail into gear!

Lot's of Lovin'

Last Saturday I was lucky enough to get together with my wonderful family and celebrate Valentines day! One of the best parts of the night is when all of our kids share Valentines! This year Cade wanted to "make a box of chocolates for everyone" knowing just how helpful he could be I opted to make little 3x3 nugget boxes. That seems like just enough chocolate for the little ones and doubles as an easy tic tac toe board in a pinch :)

Here are 4 of the 5 boxes I made, I forgot to get a picure of my little love bug :(

This box was for the little boys, I used a digi stamp from Pink Cat Studio called Rex ate the Valentines, I'm pretty sure Cade picked this one just because he liked the name! I used paper from October Afternoon, green bakers twine and part of a starbucks cup holder! Love those things!

This box was for the older boys and using a stamp from Tiddlyinks! Can you guess his name??? Yup, You Rock! I had used this one on lunch notes for Cade at the begining of the year and he thought it was "cool enough for the boys :) I used some Recollections paper, but nothing to sparkly for the guys!

This box was for the baby girls. This stamp was actually a Valentines freebie from Dustin Pike. A little paper from October afternoon and some random Valentines's paper ( is it bad if you can't even remember where it came from anymore?) I did have a black red and purple box for my "big" girls but alas no photo. I did use Lily LoveBug from Pink Cat Studio on them though. She is just TOO cute!

And finally the boxes for my sassy big girls! The stamp is from Simply Betty Stamps, and her name is Rio. Paper by let's see can you guess yet?...October Afternoon, and a little bit of lace to lighten it up! I hope you enjoyed these Valentines just as much as I loved making them! The absolute best part was my wonderful hubby even offered to help and wrapped a mojority of the 140 nuggets we needed to use!! LOL it was hilarious to watch him fight my tape roll, but so helpful!

Tag It with Trail Makers!

Hi everyone! The latest challenge at Trail Makers was so fitting for this time of year! I actually have two goodies to share. The first is a cute mug I made, this is what some people at work will be receiving this year. It is super simple to make. And doesn't thePaper Trail's December kit look stunning! Score a 12x 8 3/4 paper at every inch and glue down the left over tab. The handle was just folded in half and freestyled :) I filled the mug with yummy snickers and added a simple chipboard tag.

My second project was a set of tags. The best part was I could make them with leftover paper, and embellishments! LOVE that! I always try to make homemade tags that look slightly different for each family or event we go to. That way on Christmas day it is easy to know which gift we can tear into! These tags are going to be for my husbands family, so simple and beautiful!

Holiday Planner with TrailMaker's December Kit!

This week's challenge here at TrailMakers is to put a stamp on it! This challenge was very exciting to me and I decided to make a project that will help my holidays be nice and organized! But before I share my project I would like to share how I like to work with stamps! I generally used Copics with all of my stamps. All of my paper is from the December kit "Christmas Town" at The Paper Trail. This kit is made up of Lily Bee Design's Christmas Town line and is beautiful!

Depending on the stamp I usually like to start with my skin or lighter colors. Nothing stinks more than working with them last and smearing the hair color across the forehead.

Then with this one I worked on the outfit or details. Keep in mind where there would be natural shadows behind hair or behind the list in this case. I used 3 different reds starting with my darkest in the shadowed areas and working to the lightest. To me this lets me blend and make things just right.

Then I worked on her hair, curly hair is usually a lot of work but I think it looks great! Below I had already used 2 browns starting dark and going lighter.

My last step was adding some depth to the list. I used the lightest grey I had and tried to pick out areas that looked like they would have a shadow. A colorless blender works wonders in lightening the color and making it look like shadow.

From here, you could make a card, a scrapbook page, a gift tag, really whatever you feel like! I used mine to make a new Holiday Planner for this year.

Back cover, will have a calendar page but since this week we moved into our new house, the printer is still out of commission!

Non Halloween Layout with Halloween paper :)

When I first saw this challenge I was very nervous! I love Halloween papers but I have never used them for a non Halloween project! So as I flipped though my pictures I noticed that Even Halloween paper come in beautiful colors! On my page I used paper from Echo Parks Happy Halloween, and Summertime lines, and paper from Scribble Scrabbles Jeepers Creepers line as well as The Simply Stylish Collection. Now I know it's Halloween time and I'm posting about Cupid?!?! No I haven't lost my mind it's my take on Simply Betty's 9th day of Halloween! It's all about LoVe potion no. 9! This was one of those challenges where it all just fell into place! I knew I wanted to make a drink, and remembered seeing on of these hanging drink mix holders on Splitcoast Stampers! I think this would be a fun thing to have for each adult in your trick-or-treat party. I know I'll be taking one! And don't you think Devil Rio would be the perfect helper for cupid - Drink it or else! :)

The paper is from Scribble Scrabble and DCWV. And of course Devil Rio is available at Simply Betty Stamps but hurry, she's will only be available until October 31st!

Our challenge was: On the 8th day of Halloween... My ghoul love gave to me... 8 Waltzing Zombies, dancing around a Witches Cauldron! Well I colored up my favorite witchy Betty and used paper from Graphic 45's Hallowe'en in Wonderland line.

Oh hello my dear blogger! How I missed you this week! Our weather in Vegas has been beautiful, but Monday night we had a flash flood- something we here in the desert are ill equipt for! We something happened during the flood to cause us to lose out internet for 3 whole days!! Oh how I missed all my blogs! I even missed posting my profect for the 6th day of Halloween :( But at least I'm back now and can share my card for the 7th day This is a card I made using Sure Cuts A lot and my Cricut. And even better It is perfect for a friend birthday next week! She is a huge Nightmare before Christmas fan and I had been mulling over what kind of card I could make her! I have been dying to color the new "ghoulfriend" digi stamp! I colored her with my copics and gave her some Diamond stickle highlights :) I used my Tim Holtz brick embossing folder for the front of my tent card. Then distressed like crazy, filed and inked. This is perfect for the 5th day of Halloween at Simply Betty Challnges and TiddlyInks Halloween Challenge this week! My two favorite challenge blogs smooshed into one card!

The fourth day of Halloween: Crows & Crow's Feet

It's the fourth day of Halloween at Simply Betty Challenges! Here wasthe challenge!

On the 4th day of Halloween my ghoul love gave to me four crazy Ravens... Incorporate Ravens and this line from Vincent in your projects: "His voice was soft and very slow As he quoted The Raven from Edgar Allen Poe: “and my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor shall be lifted? Nevermore…”

I read this once and twice and allomst cried because I knew I didn't have any stamps, papers, embellisments, nothing with a crow. So out of desperation I googled crow digi stamp and crossed my fingers! LOL I was thrilled to find MyGaphico's creepy crow set and I knew just what I wanted to do! The background of the card is made with glimmer mists, crumpled up and smoothed out again the give it texture. Then added some double ruffle ribbon to finish! The jar is a project I have wanted towork on FOREVER! I have a collection of jars that I wanted tomake a spooky set of candy jars but never started. When I saw black licorice at the grocery store I knew I had to make a jar for crows feet! Thanks for visiting!

This is just a little card I made for my youngest son. He loves to take my cards everywhere with him and this one is super glued down to be extra durable! I made the card using Original Cowboy Kid digi from 2 Cute! Isn't he adorable?!?! For this card I didn't use any designer paper just blue and brown cardstocks and a woodgrain background stamp.

Allright I just have to show off my real life cowboy! These are the new pj's we got this weekend! LOL! I love this boy!!

Trick or Treat!

It's the second day of Halloween at Simply Betty Challenges! On the Second day of Halloween my Ghoul love gave to me... 2 Trick or Treaters dancing down the street! I choose to work with some of the cutest trick or treaters, Jude and Peter! I love Jude, for my sons very first Halloween he wore a Frankenstein costume that looked just like this, head piece and all! Aww memories :) I decided to make a flip flop card for my 2 trick or treaters! What a fun card! My boys have taken turns all afternoon opeining and closing it! All paper is from Echo Park.

So I have had 2 jars of Tim Holtz Crackle Pait for way too long. They just sit in the drawer watching all my other suplies get used up! Well thanks to Tiddlyinks this week they made it out of the drawer! LOVE that!!! The challenge was to pick your favorite Tiddly Inks image and create using diamond glaze or a crackle finish! Over at Simply Betty Challenges they are counting down the days to Halloween! Today is the first day of Halloween and the challenge was to create a card using a skelleton! I don't have any stamps that are a full skelleton but I have lots and lots of skulls I used Kenny K's Wanda Wicked.

Wednesday is here again! I get to share a new 2 cute card! I decide to paper piece my favorite little owl “Owl Miss You” I paper pieced the owl with a woodgrain paper from K & Company. How can you go wrong with such cute digis? The background paper is from My Mind’s Eye. I used the sketch from Twisted Sketches, challenge 26 and the circles are my gemstones! It's Monday! Which means I only work a half day! Woohoo! Gotta Love it! I'm so excited to share a new card for TiddlyInks Challenge Blog! This week challenge #22 was a sketch challenge! I decided to color Christmas Joy! Isn't she a doll!I love a good excuse to color with Copics :) I used some beautiful paper by Making Memories, And poinsettas from Prima! Doesn't this put you in a jolly mood? You know we are only 89 days away from Christmas! LOL! For the white trim I found out I was out of white flock and I didn't really want glitter, so I tried a fun and super easy was to make your own "flowersoft". I took a syrofoam circle and ran my scissors up and down. So all the little white pieces fell into a bowl I had set out. Add some clear drying glue and its an easy way to add some texture to a card! (Adding alcohol inks can change the color of your flowersoft!) I'm also entering this at Totally Gorjuss, for helping me get a jump on my Christmas cards! Thanks for stopping by!

This week at Kenny K's it's time for Challenge number 12! We got to play with Kenny's latest line of Critterz! It was hard to choose one, but as soon as I saw the sketch I knew I wanted to work with the Seal! He's such a charmer! I was very inspired by the beautiful colors in the image from Really Reasonable Ribbon's challenge #8. Isn't it beautiful?!?

Can you tell I'm in a Halloweeny mood? I just love Heidi's latest digi Monster Mash! These two little critters for 2 Cute just crack me up! I decided to do a little paper piecing on this card to give these little monster a really silly look. All paper is by Echo Park! Love thier new Halloween line! I decided to work with the great sketch over at Let's Capture Our Memories. And the twist was to use 2 types of ribbon. The first the super cute bakers twine in black and white and second is a ruffled ribbon from Spare parts that I rolled together to make the flower! Thanks for coming by!

Happy Monday! I'm sharing my latest TiddlyInks card with you all today! The challenge was pets, and that is a tough one for me. I've never been a pet girl, I'm allergic to anything with fur, as are my kids, and I just can't do slithery! That leaves a very small group of animals to pick from! When I was in third grade we did aquire a hedgehog from a teacher that was moving out of state. He was quite old and grumpy, but I sure loved him. I would put on my big thick gloves to get him out, and take him into the backyard. That's why I used this sentiment. It was a lot of work to get him safely outside but it was so worth it! I decided to makea suprise pop up card, by pulling the ribbon on top it stands right up! It was so easy and I love how it looks! I used Hedgie hug from TiddlyInks. All the paper is from the We R Memory Keepers Maple Grove line.

It's that time of year when the kiddos head back to class and mother's everywhere give a huge sigh of relief! LOL! :) My oldest son loves everything about school, so he counted down the days until he was officially a first grader! I was so excited to make this layout with some cute back to school papers! I used the Henry's Brilliance line by Nikki Sivils, and a few sheets from Cosmo Cricket's "Boyfriend" line. In case you don't know the Boyfriend line and Earth Love line come in one paper pad and it is AWESOME!! I also used a Back to school Bingo card by Jenni Bowlin. The numbers are at the bottom, and the top is actually part of my title! Add some felt thickers, kraft cardstock and a good old wooden ruler to finish up this layout!

Here is my latest card for Kenny K’s Krafty Girlz. This has to be one of my favorite cards. I love this card because it reminds me of when I played softball! I played for almost 10 years! So I colored Girl Batter from Kenny K’s shop in my old high school uniform! I love it! I tried my hand at hand stitching to make it look like the stitching from a softball. Hope you like it! As soon as I saw this sweet little Cupcake kitty, all I could think was how versatile he could be! So here is my Halloween cupcake kitty! I colored him with my Copics, the paper is from the Ravenhead Manor by Recollections. I made the flower using the same ribbon that runs down the center of the card. I pulled the black thread so the ribbon began to scrunch up then wrapped it around and around and stuck to glue. The leaves are spiderweb punches from Martha Stewart. What can you do with this cutie?

Hope everyone had a wonderful extra day off! Mine was fabulous, but now I'm trying to clean up and be ready for tomorrow. What I'm sharing tonight is my first idea for the Willy Wonka challenge at Burtonesque Dolls! This is what it said, Willy Wonka needs help! Create a new candy box, candy bag, chocolate bar, any fun and funky new candy you would find in Willy Wonka's factory. You can even create a fun and funky candy Wrapper! I had 2 ideas for this but only one is done as of right now I wanted to get it in the mix before the linky times out :) I'll try to post the next one later tonight. This was just a candy can that I made using Jude and his Shenanigan Crew Digi- by Simply Betty Stamps. I picked sweet little Dracula Mikey. Colored him up to match the adorable Whoo-ligans Halloween line by Bo Bunny! Colored some plastic letters using alcohol ink and threw together some Monster Munch! In short what "my little monsters" love to munch and a few eyeballs for good measure!

I'm wishin' for a little bit of that fall chill, here in Las Vegas this week! I think thats what inspired me to pull out some of our pumpkin pictures from last year! My family and I LOVE carving pumpkins! In fact we each usually carve about 3 a year! I think the truth is we all love hanging out outside when the temperature is under 100 :) This week the challenge at TrailMakers was to use 4-6 photos! This one had me sweatin'!!

For my layout I used Little Yellow Bicycles Clothesline Come Together paper. Who would have thought that sweet line could look so spooky? The purple, orange papers and the swirl die cut were all from Nikki Sivils. Can't wait to see everyones layout with 4-6 pictures! It certainly was a challenge for me!

Even though we are still burning it up to 104 here in Vegas, there seems to be a cool breeze in the air at night, that hints autumn will soon be here! Fall is my favorite season, I love the rich bold colors of fall, the cool crisp nights, playing in the leaves! I made this card using TiddlyInk's Tree Hugger digi.

I colored the image with Copic markers using warm fall tones. Then decided to bust out my “Autumn” Flower Soft to show the beautiful colors of fall! The trim is from Really Reasonable Ribbons. For this card I used 80's Sookie! Love her! The paper was from American Crafts. It was really fun to make this digi as large as I did, and I love how it turned out! It's time for the kiddos to head back to school! Are you as excited as me? LOL! My son can't wait togo back,and he tlls me EVERY SINGLE DAY! :) I was so excited to see the new Back 2 School emos by Simply Betty stamps! I tried to resist them but I just couldn't help myself! I used the Rio Back 2 School digi.
I used paper from October Afternoon, part of one of my favorite Jenni Bowlin Bingo cards, (see it? The top that says READ), and a few miscellaneous letter stickers to make my sentiment! Wow it’s Wednesday! Is everyone ready for the little ones to head back to school? I sure am! LOL! Here is my card for today. I used Echo Park and a journaling card to mat my little Happy Birthday Penguin digi. If you are like me I’m sure you buy the sheets or sets of journaling cards because you just LOVE one or two of them, and the rest just sort of sit around collecting dust. I thought it was the perfect frame! Add a little thread, stickles and a button to get this cute little birthday cards!

I used My Minds Eye So Sophie Calendar Card, to document a special date! I've been saving this little gem for just the right page! Now I'm so glad I did! All of the paper I used is from The Fancy Pants Rusted Sun and Family lines. My favorite little letters right now are Capella Micro Alphabet by Basic Grey, for this layout I colored them orange with my copics. They are so versatile! Butterflies, birds, and bees Oh my! :) What a fun challenge this week! I got to use the Bee-utiful Capella line by Basic Grey! I inked everything with Frayed Burlap Distress ink! LOVE this ink color!! I also used my Capella buttons and Micro alphabet stickers! What a super line! I loved how the Kaiser Crafts pearls matched so wonderfully with my layout! My favorite technique for this challenge was using smooch pearlized top coat on my butterflies, the shimmer it gave them is fabulous! Make sure you join us at TrailMakers this week!

Hey everyone! It's Wednesday and guess what that means!?!? Another fabulous card for the 2 Cute Design Team Blog! This has to be one of my favorite digis. It is so sweet! Love the little penguin! I used clear craft plastic as a card base. Then I colored and cut out the digi. I added lots and lots of stickles to make it really glisten! The inside is paper from Echo Park. Happy Wednesday! Hope everyone is doing great this fabulous Wednesday! Today I'm a sharing a card I made using the Up, Up and Away digi. I love this sweet little image, and finally got to play with my MS glow-in-the-dark glitter! Woohoo! I started by finding my nice grey american crafts paper. I thought it would make the perfect background for a starry sky! Then using spellbinders cut out my moon, which was embossed with "Tiny Dots" cuttlebug floder, and covered in glitter. Then I hand cut my stars, I wanted them to be a little different and not perfect, then they of course got the glitter treatment too! I'm so excited it's finally my teams turn to share at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz! How can you resist these images? They are so sweet and sassy, aand a BLAST to color! This week we are working with this great sketch, by our very own Donna!

It's Wednesday again, which means I get to share a new card made using 2 Cute Stamps! I colored this image 4 times, using my Copics. Then cut them out and placed them on paper from DCWV's " The Man Stack". Then I used Tim Holtz distress ink: Antique Linen and Frayed Burlap todistressthepaper. I used matching ribbon by spool o' ribbon and natural lace trim from Card Blanc. The sentiment was computer generated and distressed also. Have a wonderful Wednesday!

I have been coloring like mad this week! I love having so many wonderful images to color and create with! The one I'm sharing today is no exception!!! It is from Tiddly Inks, called Sandy Memories, perfect for the Challenge this week; Create a fun and sunny project! Nothing says fun and sun like playing at the beach! I was extra excited to work with this particular image because I had a plan :). My plan involved printing the image on some sheets of sand paper (picked up at the local dollar store), then using pop dots to create a 3 dimensional sand castle! I love how it came out and was thrilled my printer actually printed cleanly on the sand paper. So I'm wishing all of my readers a little sand fun and lots of fun! (but don't forget the sunblock and water too!)

100 posts! Woohoo! I'm excited to make this 100th post tonight!~ Just this week I was invited to join the Design Team for 2 Cute Rubber Stamps. So be on the lookout, every Wednesday I will be posting some great cards featuring these wonderful stamps! This week I was working on my son's end of school gift. (Will this school year ever end?!?!?!) I had the opportunity to help out in his class on Fridays and got to know his teacher very well. Next year she will be teaching 2nd grade and French! How fun would that be? So we ordered her a bunch of books to help her out. We still have 6 french books on the way from Barnes & Noble, but I love it so far! The Owl is the "Owl Miss You" digi stamp available here! (Come on you know you want to go shop!) I used some bright colored paper by The Girl's Paperie: On Holiday line. I used these copics to colored my feathered friend : R29, R27, R17, Y17, YR04, YR07, E47, E29, & E35. Got all that? :) The tin was from Target in the Dollar Spot. The ribbons on the handles are all scraps I have! I also made sure to make the inside of the card look nice. I used the flower that the owl is holding on the inside and left plenty of space for my son to write a thank you. Hope you all like it! Head on over to 2 Cute!

She reminds me of a friend who will be tying the knot soon! I just couldn't resist Basic Grey's Green at Heart paper. The beautiful bold colors and perfect white! I am SO EXCITED to announce I have been asked to join Kenny K's Krafty Girlz!! I'm super thrilled to be working with so many talented ladies and hope to see lots of my followers participating in the challenges that will start JULY 11th!!! WOOHOO!

Here is my card! It was very fun to use embossing powders, a sticker, crete paper and velvet ribbon all in one card! I used the June 14th Sassy card sketch! Now see what inspired me!
Also I wanted to share a card I made for a challenge over at Sassy lil Sketches. They challenged us to take a peek over at Csn stores find an inspiration piece and CREATE! My inspiration came from 2 places. The left side of my cardwas inspired by this beautiful headboard! I used pop dot squares and stuck them to the card then pealed off the top every other pop dot and covered it with silver embossing powder, then did the same to the rest using a black embossing powder. I then pushed in small brads to replicate the look of the headboard.

The pattern and ruffle around the sentiment were inspired by this stunning bedding set! WANT IT!! :) The ruffle is made from crepe paper .

If you know me , you know how much I LOVE Jenni Bowlin products!! Well over at Card-Blanc, Kathy is giving away an awesome collection of Jenni Bowlin goodies. All you had to do was be a member of the digital doodles club and combine two of her darling a stamps on a card. As if that wasn't sweet enough we even were given the "Beautiful Butterfly" digi! So I decided to use field flowers as my second stamp, I actually played with the digital stamps before printing(A first for me, notice the "half" a butterfly? Tried to make it look as though it was sitting on the flower.). I colored them with my copics and cut them out to paper piece on this fun blue paper by Bo Bunny.The sun was two cirlce and strips of yellow and orange that was run trough my paper crimper. The clouds were cut from Bo Bunny also. Hope you like the card, and of course I'm wishing you all sunshine too!

Maybe you have been noticing some super fun new digis out there and are wondering where the heck the came from? I was, I found a super awesome golfer boy digi, at Free Digital Stamps and nearly jumped for joy! I was so happy to finally see where the stamps were coming from! So let me shout it out! I used the White out line by We R Memory Keepers. And white prima roses,that I colored to match my rocker chick! And of course had to have a little bit of glimmer mist , Patina and Yellow daisy. I sprayed them opposite directions so the middle is a little green!

That was not the only card I made today! I also used the freebie for this month! It ROCKS!! I used the Man Stack by DCWV. The ribbon was from Making Memories "ruby". I free handed the golf tee (no laughing!) and printed the sentiment from my computer. So please go check out Kenny K's digi stamps! And wish me luck in the DT call!

So last night I was feeling quite mojo-less, so I was up to my second favorite thing, retail therapy! I was just window shopping until I came across the darling digi by TiddlyInks! I is simply adorable!! I LOVE IT!!! So of course I had to make a card at 11:30 pm! :) I used paper by 3 bugs in a rug, called Animal stackers, the little animals are too cute!! I used my MS doily punch, green buttons, raffia, and lace. I initially pieced the top of the tree but wanted the grass to match so I cut a strip to be my "grass". I even got to use one of my new Muse tokens by Tim Holtz! Thanks for checking it out!

I popped back over the The Burtonesque Dolls this week and was excited to see the challenge was to create a card/project fit for a Burton birthday. I thought about it all week then tonight it came to me... the Twisted Tea digi from the greating farm would be perfect. Paper was from Little Yellow Bicycle, MS spiderweb punch, copics and clear dew drops. The sketch was from Annabelle Stamps Blog! Hope you like it!

This week over at Tiddly Inks the challenge was to use a Tiddly Inks roboy and create a *bleep bleep* EXCELLENT card! In thier store I couldn't ddecide so I bought Roboto and Mega Bot. I just finished my Mega Bot card, with a little help from my son. He told me what it should say! I used Bazzil cardstock, metal sheets from making memories, Mr. Mega bot, my trusty copics, and brads, (not sure of brand, these were given to me) I ran the metal sheet through my cuttlebugand cut it down with my spellbinders but it was incredibly sharp, something my left pointer finger can attest to. So I filed , and filed and filed until it wasn't sharp. So be warned if you use metal sheets!! But it does look pretty cool don't you think? ;)

So this week during my weekly blog wanderings I found a challenge blog called The Burtonesque Dolls! I can tell you right now I will SO be a regular around there! This weeks challenge was inspired by Sweeney Todd, a movie that was so compelling, maybe it was the colors and scenery, or two of my favorites actors of all time.The challenge was to create a Sweeney inspired card using decorative scissors or distressing techniques. My favorite scene happens to be when Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovett are at the beach because I adored her bathing suit and the popping colors in the scene. So I started working on this card and got to play with some of my favorite goodies! The stamp is from Tiddlyinks, my paper was Core'dinations (which are awesome to distress) and American Crafts, I used my MS drippy goo punch and Tim Holtz Film ribbon.Here's a close up of my bathing beauty. The sentiment read U R A life saver, get it?!?!? You are a lifesaver! HAHA my hubby didn't get it :(And my favorite embellishment. The flowers are two white primas with black skulls. So I coloredthem with my copics and added some red glimmermist. Then I cut several strips of TH film ribbon using my razorback decorative scissors and layered them around the flowers then just to help it stand out I placed a white circle in the back.I absolutely loved working on this card, and it took a lot of time so I could get it just right! I made this card for a cousin who will be graduating this weekend. And since the challenge at Sassy Studio Designs was graduation I just had to get my hands on this "Sandra's Graduation" stamp. Could it honestly be more perfect for this time of year? I'm sure we all know a sassy little graduate! I colored her with my copic markers. The flowers were made using spellbinders and glimmer mist, cut them out spray them, crumple them up and let them dry! Layer them on top of one another and add a button. So easy but adds great dimension! I used the sketch from Annabelle Stamps Blog for inspiration. I was so thrilled with how everything looked all put together and I didn't just want a regular old card so I also did a little work on the inside :

Inside I made two little pocket folders, you know in honor of the whole " done with school thing". Which are perfect to tuck the gift we painstakingly searched for. :: ok she's getting cash and maybe a gift card if I make it to a store in time:) :: Hope you like my graduation card! This week I absolutely fell in love with the sketch from Get Sketchy Card Challenges! It was so creative and different fro m any sketch I have used before. The diagonal sunburst lines just reminded me of a rainbow and I knew the perfect stamp to go with my rainbow! My little pea from Pixie Dust Studios his sign usually says "Give Peace a Chance" but I took a little time to learn how to alter and made the sign read "Happy Birthday". Then I worked on my "rainbow", busted out my trusty MS border punch and went to town! Chalenges:

Four Legged FRIEND

Hope everyone's week is moving right along! This has been the first week in a while I haven't had a million projects stacked up all over,what a sweet break! Hopefully you have trottted on over to see the cute turtle card freebie at Paper Popsicles! I'm hoping to find some spare time today to work on my own little turtle! Well here is my card for today featuring a very handsome doggie digi. He is from the Family Pets set which could be used in SO many different ways! I decided to cut him out and use a monochromatic color palette to really make him pop! I used 3 different MS punches to create a muted but beautiful background! I love how it looks, definately something I will try again!

Monday means it's time to head to Paper popsicles for some Moosetrack "mojo"! This week we a celebrating our four legged friends! I had so much fun working with a super cute elephant card! I knew as soon as I saw it he was definately a circus performer! I used a circle punch to create a scalloped edge around the blanket, or harness they wear. Then decorated it with two quick flower punches and a 2, I guess I just have second birthdays on the mind this month! I seem to be running on fumes these last 2 weeks! I can't believe I actually forgot to share some of my work for the Cheeky Radishes design team! And since it is Monday my all new card for this week! Don't forget to go grab the freebie this week!

Allright this week I got to work with the very fun cake card. I decided I wanted it to be a wedding card so pulled out some Basic Grey Cappella paper (love it!) The brown "frosting" was actually a neon blue ribbon I colored with my Copics then pulled a thread from the center to make it "scrunch" up. Added a little pearl trim and some flowers, ta-da!

I have to say this is one of my favorite cards I have made for so many reasons! 1. I love the digi stamp- how beautiful is it! 2. I adore Cosmo Cricket's Earth Love paper! 3. If you are familiar with my blog you know of my weakness for anything "rockstar". I adored my younger brother and his band when I was younger. So much that I was usually thier chaufffeur to and from each others house and down to 7-11 for a snack. But I digress :) When I saw this stamp by Crissy Armstrong, I had to have it! I think he is super rockstar and love all the details in the stamp! It took a while to do him justice but finally I was pleased! I hope you like the card as much as I liked working on it!

Prairie Fairy is having a design team call! I just found this company through a friend and LOVE them! I have a wishlist of stamps next to the computer! Thank heavens it's payday week! LOL But really if you haven't been by there go check it out! This was the card I made, I love this sweet little fairy! I decided to paper piece her dress and the flower first, and then colored the rest of her in with my Copics. Her wings are sticked. The flowers I used were paper roses, which are VERY easy to make but I had never made them so small before! I used my computer to generate the sentiment. All of the paper was from Vintage Morning line. And I used the sketch from Stamp with Fun by Emmi41. Prairie Fairy thank you for such a great freebie!

This week is birthday week at Paper Popsicles and we celebrating with some super yummy sweet treats! The shaped card I worked on this week was a strawberry! I instantly wanted to make my favorite kind - chocolate dipped! (everything is better dipped in chocolate) To make mine I used liquid applique waited the 24 hours then heated it so the choclate puffed up! Then added LOTS of brown glitter! Then I free handed the stem and leaves and rolled them through my paper crimper. And then printed out the sentiment and used my spellbinders to cut it out!

The digi I got to work with was a piece of cake, er... I mean pie! ::HAHA:: I LOVED coloring this image! I must have 6 or 7 colored just waiting to be made into cards! On thins one I colored it with my copic markers then added glossy accents to the filling and cherry. I decided to just make a very simple card so that the pie was the main focus! Hope you enjoy my work this week!

I was BEYOND thrilled when The Greeting Farm posted this awesome drummer boy as a digi! As soon as I saw it, I thought of my brother, who happens to be a stinking AMAZING drummer! I colored the drum set like his first custom set. One I heard every detail of as he saved up the money to buy it. I loved how he was so passionate and knowledgeable. He is and will always be my "Rock Star"!

I thought it fitting to use the great sketch provided by Cindy Haffner at TGF! And Iwas also able to use the recipe at I Love Digi Challenge Blog! 3 papers (a dark green, the polka dots and puple are 1 paper double sided :) and a plain purple which I stamped the sentiment & printed sheet music for my own designer paper) 2 brads, and 1 embellishment my crazy netting ribbon! Hope you like it!
