It's Monday and Paper Popsicles is hosting our first challenge! Welcome to Monday's Mint Chocolate Chip Challenge!!! Challenge #1 is to use this sketch to create something beautiful!

So here is my take on the sketch! I started by picking my paper! I love the My Family line by FancyPants! If you haven't seen it yet go look it up it ROCKS! But I digress :) I snatched up the My Block digi from Cheeky Radishes and colored the homes to match my paper.Hope you like my take on the sketch! Now, what can you do with the sketch? Four Legged *FRIEND*

Hope everyone's week is moving right along! This has been the first week in a while I haven't had a million projects stacked up all over,what a sweet break! Hopefully you have trottted on over to see the cute turtle card freebie at Paper Popsicles! I'm hoping to find some spare time today to work on my own little turtle! Well here is my card for today featuring a very handsome doggie digi. He is from the Family Pets set which could be used in SO many different ways! I decided to cut him out and use a monochromatic color palette to really make him pop! I used 3 different MS punches to create a muted but beautiful background! I love how it looks, definately something I will try again!

Circus Elephant

Monday means it's time to head to Paper popsicles for some Moosetrack "mojo"! This week we a celebrating our four legged friends! I had so much fun working with a super cute elephant card! I knew as soon as I saw it he was definately a circus performer! I used a circle punch to create a scalloped edge around the blanket, or harness they wear. Then decorated it with two quick flower punches and a 2, I guess I just have second birthdays on the mind this month! Day late and a Dollar short!

I seem to be running on fumes these last 2 weeks! I can't believe I actually forgot to share some of my work for the Cheeky Radishes design team! And since it is Monday my all new card for this week! Don't forget to go grab the freebie this week!

Allright this week I got to work with the very fun cake card. I decided I wanted it to be a wedding card so pulled out some Basic Grey Cappella paper (love it!) The brown "frosting" was actually a neon blue ribbon I colored with my Copics then pulled a thread from the center to make it "scrunch" up. Added a little pearl trim and some flowers, ta-da!

I choose to work with the adorable Cherry Bugg! I love all the curly haired characters in the Tiddly Inks store! I have to say this is one of my favorite cards I have made for so many reasons! 1. I love the digi stamp- how beautiful is it! 2. I adore Cosmo Cricket's Earth Love paper! 3. I love working with my copics and especially when I have the colors that match the paper I have! And 4. All them circles are just fun! The idea was from PWCO Sunday Sketch #31 I had to convince myself it would work! And I loved it!! Ok done tooting my own horn! Did you pick up the awesome freebie at Paper Poopsicles yet? Cake anyone?

Hi everybody! Hope you had an enjoyable weekend! I'm excited to show off my cards this week for Paper Popsicles because I really like them! :) I got to work with the cake card, how fun is it! It is iced with beautiful Dear Lizzy paper by American Crafts. And lots and lots of buttons! And a paper rose right up top! Run to Paper Popsicles today to get the SUPER sweet tree digi!
