Tea Party Baby Shower

So I feel like I haven't been up to my usual crafty self but I have been BUSY! Just focused on one thing...My brother's girlfriend's baby shower! I can't wait I am counting down the days! Only 5 more to go! Woohoo! So here is what I have been up to!

Here are the invitations: The teacup was cut from Dreams come True. Embossed with D'Vine Swirls.

All of the party info was inside the "teabag". Along with this cute poem:

These are the napkin rings. Didn't "need" to make them but I love them!

This is the centerpiece for the tables. I love these! There will be 2 on each table and I made a total of 12! That's a lot of dum-dums! Close to 1,000! LOL! I stuck the dumm dums into 4inch Styrofoam balls. The "stem" is a dowel painted green and a little terra cotta pot at the bottom. I painted them pink, embossed the strip of paper across the top with d'vine swirls and cut "It's a girl" from my potpourri cart in white vinyl. This is the diaper cake I made. I wanted it to look like the teapot was pouring flowers, and still might try again,but for now I like it!

These are little bags I bought that contain everything the guests need to participate in our games.

A pen, game sheet and a new mommy dilemma card and clever solution card. They will fill these out at the shower and we will mix them up and read them so that the dilemma doesn't match the solution. Should be funny. This is a little advice book. All the dilemma and solution cards will go in here after the shower, along with a few photos!My sock bouquet! The flowers are all socks rolled up to look like roses! Her name is going to be Sophie! TOO CUTE! I cut these letters with Mini Monograms.Here are the favors! They are Hershey bar sliders! YUMMY! I have 45 of these! I hope the chocolate lasts that long in our house!

My little Brothers Birthday Gift

My little brother recently turned 22. I couldn't think of any "cool" crafty gifts and at the last minute I ended up making him this fry box. I think he liked it, but he took the money and left the box - Sorry no refills!

Allright I'm finally back to blogging and hopefully challenges real soon! My family ended up moving this last month and with school starting and planning a baby shower (pics to come) I have neglected my crafts but alas, NO MORE! For my first challenge back I went to the place I KNEW I could find inspiration... Candy Shoppe Designs! The strip challenge was just what I needed! I made this "mummy" can for a Halloween can swap on the Cricut MB. The lid which is missing at the present time says Crafty "Mummy". Thanks for takin' a peek!
