Rock Star!

How's everyone's weekend going? Mine has been wonderful, time for family, date night, and even a little time to create! Can't complain about that! :) This is a card I made the the sketch challenge # 12 at Lil Lolita Boutique. I have had these digis since the sale and finally got around to coloring! For this card I used 80's Sookie! Love her! The paper was from American Crafts. It was really fun to make this digi as large as I did, and I love how it turned out! The idea for the bright fun colors came from Cupcake Inspiration Challenge # 74. A blog I just found and fell in love with! Thanks for checking it out!

It's time for the kiddos to head back to school! Are you as excited as me? LOL! My son can't wait togo back, and he tlls me EVERY SINGLE DAY! :) I was so excited to see the new Back 2 School emos by Simply Betty stamps! I tried to resist them but I just couldn't help myself! I used the Rio Back 2 School digi.
I used paper from October Afternoon, part of one of my favorite Jenni Bowlin Bingo cards, (see it? The top that says READ), and a few miscellaneous letter stickers to make my sentiment! I'm entering this card in the DT call for The Simply Betty Challenge Blog and the challenge at Fussy & Fancy Friday challenges for thier Back to school project! Have a great weekend!

A llittle summer fun!

I have had this digi stamp for a while now and I have colored it probably 20 different ways but I was never completely thrilled with it until now! I used my Copics to color in my Betty Summer Digi from Simply Betty Stamps. The background paper is very old and from K and Company, the teal is from Sassafrass. The spider punches down the side are from EK. The sketch is courtesy Paper Craft Star!

A COOL Birthday!

Wow it’s Wednesday! Is everyone ready for the little ones to head back to school? I sure am! LOL! Here is my card for today. I used Echo Park and a journaling card to mat my little Happy Birthday Penguin digi. If you are like me I’m sure you buy the sheets or sets of journaling cards because you just LOVE one or two of them, and the rest just sort of sit around collecting dust. I thought it was the perfect frame! Add a little thread, stickles and a button to get this cute little birthday cards!

Getting Sketchy!

What an amazing sketch to work with this week at TrailMakers! How can you possibly go wrong with a sketch? Here is my take on it!
I used My Minds Eye So Sophie Calendar Card, to document a special date! I've been saving this little gem for just the right page! Now I'm so glad I did! All of the paper I used is from The Fancy Pants Rusted Sun and Family lines. My favorite little letters right now are Capella Micro Alphabet by Basic Grey, for this layout I colored them orange with my copics. They are so versatile! A quick touch of color and they can match ANYTHING!Hope you all can find time to join us in this week's challenge!

LOVE this ink color!! I also used my Capella buttons and Micro alphabet stickers! What a super line! I loved how the Kaiser Crafts pearls matched so wonderfully with my layout! What a Princess!

Just in the nick of time! I'm barely squeaking this one in for the TiddlyInks Challenge blog! Which is so sad, as I had my princess colored and the card partially assembeled since last week! We were given two weeks this time, and our theme was Princesses!I made my little princess after my favorite Disney gal, Snow White. I was really excited to do a girly card since I'm usually working on boy cards! So what color do I pick? BLUE!! LOL! Go figure! But at least I got to use my yummy Jenni Bowlin paper! Thanks for taking a look!

My pal Woody

How is everyone doing? Here is my page for this weeks challenge at The Paper Trail Makers Challenge Blog!! This was a sketch I had wanted to try for a long time and the circle challenge was the perfect opportunity. This week I altered my chipboard letters using alcohol inks. It made them look textured and super cool I think :)

I used the following items from The Paper Trail store:

Bazzill - Kraft cardstock

Jenni Bowlin - Ticket and pin

All paper and ribbon used was from my scrap pile! Gotta love that!

Colorbok - chipboard letters

American crafts - Thickers
Show us this what you can do with circles this week!

It's a sweet thing!

Hey everyone! It's Wednesday and guess what that means!?!? Another fabulous card for the 2 Cute Design Team Blog! This has to be one of my favorite digis. It is so sweet! Love the little penguin! I used clear craft plastic as a card base. Then I colored and cut out the digi. I added lots and lots of stickles to make it really glisten! The inside is paper from Echo Park. I just love the clouds in the background! Don't forget to stop by Heidi's fab store! And make sure you pick up the adorable cuppies here, they are freebies so scoop them up! !
