Summer Banner

For this banner I combined two different challenges. On CandyShoppeDesigns the challenge was to use a fan flower. A while back I made a birthday banner using them and loved how it looked. But it was pre-scorer (just made that word up!) so my folds where all over the place! These ones line up so nicely! The next inspiration is from the challenge on BBTB (Links to both sites are on the right) The challenge was to come up with a summer creation, with at least one cricut cut. All the cuts are doodlecharms and the lettering is mini monogram.

The tree is embossed with tiny dots embossing folder.

Both the top of the ice cream and seahorse are embossed and then I added glitter. I wasn't sure how it would come out but you can still tell that it is textured!

The sandcastle has sand on it hmmm thought hard on that one! then the popsicle is covered with liquid glass to make it shine!

If you look hard you can see D'vine Swirls in the sun!

  1. Oh WOW! What a gorgeous piece!! The colours are so perfect for summer and the little images are so beautiful! I love it!

  2. Ahhhh I love it! So summery and sparkly and colorful.....and I have this cart...hehe. I may have to scraplift a few ideas, your work is right up my alley. I love your style!

  3. Hey Calie!
This is an awesome way to use "Fan Flowers!" Thanks so much for participating and for helping promote the C.S.D. Blog. Hope you plan on sticking around and participating in future fun!
